fall into this fluffy library

The entire cast of Arthur was right: having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card, particularly if you’re a member of Athens’ fluffy library. Opened earlier this year, the #TextMe_FluffyLibrary is both a novel place to read and a public space for events and workshops.

The library is also home to a number of plush characters – a horse with breasts, a hairy pink mermaid and a masculine pixie – each designed to encourage discussions around gender and identity (though you might have already worked that out from the giant labia-like pouches in the floor).

The exhibition runs until April 2019, so any lucky ducks stopping by Athens soon will have plenty of time to check it out. Find more details over here.
