We tend to think of the human body as a goopy, grisly mess of fluids, flesh and bone, but when you think about it, it's a bit of a masterpiece.

We tend to think of the human body as a goopy, grisly mess of fluids, flesh and bone, but when you think about it, it's a bit of a masterpiece. UK-based, Guatemalan-born artist Camila Carlow is mighty impressed by the handiwork of that talented Mother Nature, so she's spreading some body love with a project named Eye Heart Spleen. Gathering up assorted flora in her hometown of Bristol, she's constructed a series of blooming human organs - from the uterus to the brain and even a wonderfully mossy woven gut - all in the name of celebrating the link between biology and nature. You can view more of her works of art and even nab a print or two for your wall here.
