everything plus the kitchen sink

Through a regular photography series on her blog, Morgan West introduces us to basins across the world – from Cairo, Egypt to Washington, DC.

Generally the mere thought of the kitchen sink is enough to make our stomachs, well, sink. Thoughts of unwashed stacks of dishes and caked on cereal sit gloomily at the front of our minds, but as Morgan West from Panda Head shows, there can actually be something kind of special about the sud-filled space.

Through a regular photography series on her blog, Morgan introduces us to basins across the world – from Cairo, Egypt to Washington, DC. The pics are a wee bit voyeuristic and surprisingly intimate, giving us a glimpse into the way that different people live. It's also an inspiration to whack on some rubber gloves and get scrubbing, so if you need us, we'll be elbow deep in detergent. See the full series here.
