Crafting for one is fun, no doubt, but round up a bunch of like-minded chums and your creative session can be so much better. That's the thinking behind Etsy Craft Party, anyway: a round-the-world celebration of meeting and making taking place one weekend a year (June 5th and 6th this time round!). It's a chance to attend locally organised crafty events, hobnob with fellow arty folk and share some inspiration with your brand new DIY pals.

Search for your nearest craft party via Etsy's nifty website, or if you'd prefer you can play host at a shindig of your own. This year the theme is Kaleidoscope: Paper Taking Shape, which can be interpreted any old way you choose – have a peek at this eye-catching paper weaving project if you're in need of a wee bit of inspo.
