enough space opening

Who needs cavernous galleries that take half a day and three snack breaks to explore when you can have one single room that is chock full of arty goodness?

Who needs cavernous galleries that take half a day and three snack breaks to explore when you can have one single room that is chock full of arty goodness? That was what pals Laura Rose Main and Jacqueline Smith figured when they dreamt up Enough Space – a pint-sized new gallery opening this week in Melbourne.

With the aim of supporting cool creative people doing cool creative things, they’re kicking off this Friday December 4th with their first exhibition – Hi, We’re New Here. It features a little taste-test of what’s to come from a whole bunch of local artists and photographers, including Caitlin Shearer, Rosaleen Ryan, Sarah Kelk, Cat Rabbit and Alexis Winter.

The party starts at 2A/127 Greville Street, Prahran, from 6pm (a little birdy tells us there’ll be yummy tipples and nibbles up for grabs, too). To check out the full lineup and keep up-to-date with future shows, pop by the Enough Facebook page.

Snaps to the left by Tess Bukowsky, and work-in-progress embroidery by Cat Rabbit.
