Japanese design proves white bread can be interesting. 

In meme land, a typical loaf of white bread is shorthand for bland, middle-class interests. In Japan, the humble white loaf is anything but bland.  With their nostalgic cartoon characters and ornate typefaces, these bags make the average sandwich slice look rather appealing, actually. The only downside is the preference for plastic, rather than a more eco-friendly material. Ah well, can't have it all, can we.
