do-goodies for vanuatu

Our neighbours to the east are going to need our help for a good while to come, so we thought we'd give all our frankie friends a chance to do Vanuatu good... in exchange for some goodies.

Right now the folk in Vanuatu are hurting. Since Cyclone Pam flattened the country, there are an estimated 160,000 people affected: 110,000 without access to safe drinking water, huge numbers homeless, and a whole heap in need of food – not to mention hygiene, sanitation and health services.

Our neighbours to the east are going to need our help for a good while to come, so we thought we'd give all our frankie friends a chance to do Vanuatu good... in exchange for some goodies.

If you donate $10 or more online to any of the charities we've listed below, let us know and we'll put you in the draw to win some mighty fine stuff, in addition to the warm glow of being a top human being. Take a screen shot of the 'thank you' screen or attach your receipt and email us here with Do Vanuatu Good in the header and you might be in line for something nice. (Don't send us anything with your credit card details! We don't want to scam you!)

Thanks to some ace and generous types, here's what you could nab by being a do-gooder: a lovely Reid Vintage Ladies Classic pushie, some Dot Dash cushions from Arro Home, one of five copies of Pip Lincolne's brand new Craft for the Soul book, an extra large Angus & Celeste hanging garden, some pretty winter tights from OK OK and a frankie prize pack including a copy of SPACES, plus a year's subscription to both frankie and Smith Journal.

We'll be drawing prizes after Easter, so please spend some time digging for change down the back of the couch and give yourself a little extra nudge to get it to one of these charities:

Oxfam Australia
Australian Red Cross
Plan Australia
Care Australia
World Vision
UNICEF
Save the Children
