diy vintage needlepoint bag

How's this for a little DIY project that actually looks easy and (fairly) quick and has you ending up with a pretty vintage-inspired bag?

We've seen enough bad needlepoint in op shops to know it was pretty popular back in the day – clearly working thread on a plastic canvas was highly attractive to handy types in the '60s and '70s. It is still attractive to us now, especially when it's been neatly updated and encutened as it has here. Have a peep at the instructions here. Happy stitching, everyone.
