It's not often you'll see us writing about swinging chicks (you'd find frankie in a whole different section of the newsagent if we did), but this little DIY was so adorable - and entirely PG-rated - that we were willing to make an exception. Right in time for Easter decorating duties it sprang up on Handmade Charlotte's blog, turning some yellow yarn and other crafty scraps into an oh-so cute bespectacled chicken. Make one to hang solo or a circus-worth of feathered acrobats – either way it's pretty simple, and you can find out how with the tutorial over here.
