diy pleated pendant lampshade

Whip up this neato pendant lampshade – no sewing required!

If you’ve got half a metre of snazzy fabric, basic crafting gear, a bit of string and a bottle of fabric stiffener, then you’ve got pretty much everything you need to whip up this nifty pleated pendant lampshade. You’ll need to have a squiz at the instructions, of course (provided by the supremely talented Corrie Beth Hogg of Apple of My DIY for The House That Lars Built). You’ll also need an hour or so to yourself (plus your personal choice of fuel – whether that’s a piping hot cup of Earl Grey or a frosty cold ale). But we’ll be darned if it isn’t worth the effort. A fine way to add a splash of colour to your surrounds – and nice and easy, too. Just our kind of DIY. Enjoy!
