diy matchbox camera

By Staff Writer

This wee camera holds a stack of picture prompts – the very thing to get you out there taking creative snaps.

Most of us don’t need any prompting to snap a stunning view or drool-inducing cake, but it’s rather nice to be inspired to take a photo that’s a little out of the ordinary – which is where this DIY matchbox camera comes very much in handy. True, it’s a sweet little ornament in its own right (cleverly constructed from wee bits of paper and other bits and bobs you’ll likely have lying about the house), but what makes this homage to old school photography a tad extra-cool is that it contains a stack of picture prompts, like “same coloured items” and “something that makes you smile”. Head over to Mariëlle’s blog, Magical Daydream, to see the full rundown of instructions.
