Sometimes the most beautiful designs fall out of the sky – literally. It happens every autumn, when leaves of red, yellow and brown flutter to our feet and gather in pretty, swirling arrangements on the footpath. Of course, the trees are still a little barren down here in the southern hemisphere (damn you, winter!), but perhaps spring will come faster if we create a leafy wall decoration in its honour? This easy-peasy backdrop will take you all of five minutes to create – or maybe a touch longer, depending on how artfully you want to arrange your flora. Just be sure not to pinch too many leaves from your neighbours’ trees (or at least wait till the cover of darkness, so you’ll get away with it).
