Got a stack of old books that you probably won’t read, but you can’t bring yourself to ditch because of the awesome, eye-catching covers? Maybe the insides are yellowing and torn, or you simply don’t have space for one more novel on your bookshelf. This nifty DIY is a neat way to show off the old hardbacks, while also putting them to good use. And it only takes about 15 minutes to complete, which is a bonus – essentially, you just gather some nicely coloured books together, tie them in a bundle with some twine and shove your knives in.
