diy gradient bookshelf

A pegboard shelf to display all your prettiest books and mags.

OK we must admit a certain amount of bias was at play when we spotted this sweet tutorial for a gradient bookshelf. Yes, it seems the champs at Brit + Co are frankie readers, but they also have excellent DIY ideas. This sorbet stand made from a pegboard is designed to show off all the prettiest books and mags you have lying around. As buyers of printed matter with excellent covers, we completely understand how a conventional bookshelf sometimes just doesn't cut it. Make your own by heading over here. You’ll need to arm yourself with a drill, a pegboard and some paint rollers to get started (but we assume you have a few copies of frankie to proudly display once you’re done).
