dead feminists

Behold, the wisdom of feminists from bygone eras, enshrined in hand-drawn letterpress prints.

It’s hard to know what’s more awesome about the Dead Feminists series: the fact that the project enshrines the wisdom of feminists from bygone eras, or the fact that the resulting hand-drawn letterpress prints are so gosh-darn splendid to look at. Jessica Spring and Chandler O’Leary are the artists behind the work, and just so happen to be neighbours as well as collaborators (they live a few blocks from each other in Tacoma, Washington). They’re donating a portion of the sale of each print to an issue that aligns with the issue highlighted in the artwork, and should you care to see more, simply direct your peeper towards their website. In the meantime, feel free to have a gander at some of our favourite dead feminists just below.
