Looking awesome doesn't feel so good when your duds are causing damage to the environment, so we're counting our lucky stars that events like this one exist.

Looking awesome doesn't feel so good when your duds are causing damage to the environment, so we're counting our lucky stars that events like this one exist. Commune at Craft Cubed is a one-day event at RMIT's Brunswick campus in Melbourne that gives a round of high fives to all those people using sustainable practice in fashion and design.

There'll be open forums led by Kirsteene Phelan from etsy, Lucy Feagins from the Design Files and former Age Fashion Ed Janice Breen-Burns, as well as clothing mending workshops, a market stocked with locally made bits and bobs and one helluva communal clothing exchange. Plus, it's all free!

Sustainable and economical? Yes please. The whole shebang goes down on Saturday 24th August from 11am, but you can find all the info you need over here.
