Are you a chronic daydreamer? It's supposedly a sign of a creative brain, which is great and all, but if you can't stop playing around in that world inside your head then you're not actually going to get much done. A creative catch 22, if you please.

French photograph Cerise Doucede captures these moments with her camera rather splendidly: grandmothers slicing apples for their flan with granny smiths floating above their heads, bored couples at the dinner table thinking more than they're saying and university students literally living in the pages of their textbooks.

And is it just us, or is there also some Matilda-esque quality to this as well? Minus the flying carrot sticks and Cheerios?
