bow garland diy

Grab some vintage sheets and some scissors to make your home just a little bit happier.

Time can be cruel to bed linen. The decades can make the threads crunchy and scratchy, or worse, smell like an oh-so musty op shop floor (which may be where it’s been living for the past year or ten).

If you’ve got some pretty bits of old fabric that are too rough to touch (or too smelly to lay your head on), why not turn them into something else entirely – like this bow garland, for instance? You don’t need much: just some fabric, embroidery thread and a few spare minutes to string it all together. Head over to Smile and Wave for the full instructions.
