blooming day embroidery

History’s most famous paintings, stitched up into little brooches.

Excuse us for a second. We’re going to need a minute to recover from Ira Kutsyna’s immaculate embroidery skills, seen here in her replicas of famous paintings. The Ukrainian stitch enthusiast uses her needle like a paintbrush and we can't help but look on in awe.

On a lucky day, you can find Ira's little versions of a Van Gogh, Monet or Magritte in brooch form via her Etsy store, but heads up, her works tend to sell out fast. In any case, a scroll through her Blooming Day Instagram is always a treat for the eyes.
