Pop past BSIDE Gallery in Melbourne town tonight to check out a slew of botanically inspired artworks.

A bunch of talented artists (including a fair few that have graced the pages of frankie magazine) are currently exhibiting their illustrative, textile and ceramic-based brilliance at Bloomin’ Beauty, a group art show in Melbourne town. Pop past BSIDE Gallery at 121 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, to clap your peepers on works by the likes of Alca Jay, Ashley Ronning, Carolyn Hawkins, Edith Rewa, Esther Sandler, Holly Leonardson, Julie White, Lori Camarata, Megan McNeill, Min Pin, Paradise Structures, Stephanie Elicia and Tara Whalley – all of whom have created something special in response to the theme of floral iconography. The opening takes place from 6pm till 9pm tonight (an ideal way to cap off your week if you’re into botanical illustration – or just fancy downing a beverage in the company of some nice people), and the exhibition runs till Sunday.
