Nope, our spell check isn't on the fritz – Biutiful is a brilliant foreign film that has just been released on DVD and Blu-Ray. And when we say 'brilliant', that isn't just our own opinion. It was nominated for two Academy Awards this year, plus it won some gongs at both the BAFTAs and Cannes. So it's basically certified awesome. It stars Javier Bardem (the creepy serial killer with the creepier haircut from No Country For Old Men) as a cancer-suffering, illegal immigrant trafficking father of two with obviously quite a lot on his mind. It's not exactly cheery viewing, but it certainly is amazing viewing.
