We have one serious question for Sam Kaplan, the fella behind these carefully constructed biscuit formations: how is it that not one of those sugary bricks has even the slightest nibble out of it?

The New York photographer painstakingly arranges baked goods and lollies to create structures that look straight out of an ancient world – all perfectly symmetrical, intricate and positively mouth-watering.
