Melbourne lass Lucy Bain makes one-of-a-kind bibs and kids’ wear from sweet vintage fabrics. It all started with the birth of Lucy’s first little one. Realising how important it is to surround wee humans with natural and handmade materials, she got stuck into old school crafts, and learned (thanks to her aunty) how to stitch a pair of bub-sized woollen pants from an old jumper. And thus, the Birdy Said label was born. Named after Lucy’s daughter’s first word, bird, the range includes bibs, nappy wallets, and various knitted bits and bobs.
