arm knitting diy

All you need to weave a scarf is two upper limbs and a whole lot of yarn.

Remember finger knitting? We used to dabble in the woolly artform back when we were a bunch of little tackers, because why bother with stabby knitting needles when you have five perfectly handy (and mostly eye-friendly) digits?

These days the craft has gone one step further, jumping over the wrists to become something known as arm knitting. All you need to weave a scarf is two upper limbs and a whole lot of yarn, and given the large, loopy rows that result, you could easily finish a project while watching an episode of Girls.

This video from craft blog Handimania explains the process well, so have a gander, grab some wool and start your weaving.
