In Robin Schwartz’s world, the line between the human and animal experience is a little bit blurry.
For shutterbug Robin Schwartz, animals and photography are deeply connected. “Photographing animals and the people that are devoted to animals is what I have always cared about and is the driving force in all my work,” she says on her website – which explains her rather elaborate and impressive photography project, Amelia and the Animals. Shot over 15 years (and counting), the series of snaps shows Robin’s daughter, Amelia, from the age of three-and-a-half interacting with all manner of critters, including tigers, kangaroos, elephants, deer and more.
