Witnessing Lucy Sparrow's artwork is a little like stepping into your local 7-Eleven after a felt bomb has gone off and plastered every last inch in colourful fuzz.

Witnessing Lucy Sparrow's artwork is a little like stepping into your local 7-Eleven after a felt bomb has gone off and plastered every last inch in colourful fuzz. And for good reason. The British artist has transformed an entire abandoned corner store into a pop-up art show featuring 4,000 hand-sewn products, and it's open to the public every day this month.

Magazines, icy poles, chocolate bars and tinned spaghetti – no detail is left unsewn, including a mighty lifelike cash register and a feline-focused collection kitty. To see more of the fabric awesomeness, have a squiz at Lucy's website or pop by the installation in London's Bethnal Green. Most of the items are also up for grabs online, so you can finally pick up that felt pregnancy test you've been after.
