alice nightingale's frankie dress

Well, we’re feeling a little spesh this afternoon, and it’s all thanks to the ever-lovely Alice Nightingale.

Well, we’re feeling a little spesh this afternoon, and it’s all thanks to the ever-lovely Alice Nightingale.

As part of the Recreate Paper Fashion Show – a National Recycling Week event asking designers to turn paper and cardboard into wearable art – the local lady has whipped up a retro-inspired dress fashioned entirely from frankie’s pages. It’s super-intricate and nice to look at and we’re really rather chuffed.

The frock made its way down the runway on Friday night in Brissie, alongside sustainable designs by clever clogs like Nico, Malocchi and our own fashion lady, Rachel Burke. To find out more about National Recycling Week and other goings-on, pop by the Brisbane City Council website.
