They don't call South Australia the Festival State for nothing, you know. Adelaide and its surrounds sure know how to put on a knees-up, and when the next batch of festivities rolls into town, you best sit up and pay attention.

This time round it's the Adelaide Film Festival, AKA an excuse to spend ten days in a movie marathon, scoffing popcorn and chain-eating ChocTops. Besides the usual cellular brilliance, the program is packed with a bunch of tip-top events, from a live recording of At the Movies with Margaret and David, to a Grease sing-a-long screening at the City Drive-In and a showing of Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer followed by a good old-fashioned Stitch 'n' Bitch.
