Warning: these paintings may result in nostalgia overload.

Warning: these paintings may result in nostalgia overload. Especially if you spent any part of your youth huddled over an Atari or Nintendo console. The delicate watercolours by New York-based artist Adam Lister are indeedĀ inspired by the pixelation effects of '80s video games (just in case you were wondering if something was amiss with your vision). They also happen to pay tribute to some of our favourite flicks, like The Shining, Edward Scissorhands and Star Wars. Scroll down for all the goodness and check out Adam'sĀ website for more nostalgic treats.
