a new way to see yourself
Lisa Levy’s mirrors might make you feel better about your bad hair day.
Mirror, mirror on the wall: who’s the raddest of them all? That’s what we hope you think when you see your reflection. Though we totally get it can be hard, especially when we're all spending so much time in our jammies, with nary a reason to pop on our best duds or a lick of lippie. Brooklyn conceptual artist, performer and comedian Lisa Levy, is right there with us, trying her best to quiet the mean voice within. It's why she created a set of ‘self-reflection’ mirrors, each emblazoned with handy-dandy reminders including “Shut up. You look great!” and “This is no place to look for perfection.” Ain’t that the truth!
