a garden from household objects

Turns out you don’t need plants to have a garden, after all – just a whole lot of green things.

Copenhagen-based artistic duo PUTPUT have proven, once and for all, that you don’t actually need plants to have a garden. You just need to amass a tonne of green household objects – dusters, hairbrushes, drink bottles, scourers – and a big bunch of pots to put them in. Cluster them together, and voila – you’ve got yourself a greenhouse. It might be a nice way for all you plant killers out there to give yourself a sense of nature, should you be inclined to spruce up your pad.
