The Cardamom Saree is a single draped garment and blouse in my debut collection. It is 6.5 metres of hand-woven rare Assam silk, designed and painted to reflect a mother holding a child. This saree represents not only the birth of my label, but the gift of my Indian upbringing. I’m so grateful to my mother for teaching me to drape the dignified saree and passing down her cultural insight.
