reading & reviewing

Karin Elizabeth reads loads of books but instead of just blogging about them, she reviews and takes a styled self portrait which refelcts what books she’s reading. Addictive and interesting, Karin started her blog Reading & Reviewing because she felt she needed to think a little more about each book she’d read. Reviews range from Harper’s Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird to Huruki Murakami’s The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle to JK Rowlng’s Harry Potter series. The self portraits are the best. http://ofbooks.blogspot.com

Peeping Tom / Paper was designed by Jess Greenfield to satisfy her own love of stationery. Jess admits she’s a little selfish but says, with Peeping Tom/ Paper, she also “aims to please, inspire and simply brighten a friend’s day through colourful and creative design.”

This year we helped Kit Cosmetics find a super designer to create beautiful images for their lovely products. The winner scored the chance to design product packaging for Kit’s new limited edition product range. Miss Jessica Singh from WA came through with the goods – check out her designs below. The talented lass also drew our next frankie poster (get your copy of frankie on August 26th). Congrats Jessica, we’re chuffed for you!

Check this cute blog out. On Jill Wignall’s daily travels, she doodles everyday things that she sees and then sends them to people she likes. Her drawings show a bunch of flowers she picked up from the florist to cute kids that pass her in the street.  So simple, so sweet.
