FIRST TURN ON CAMERA, THEN TURN ON SHOWER

I love stumbling across random coolness on the interweb, and I think my personal prize for radness this month has to go to PhotoShowerCurtain.com. It’s a site that does exactly what it says on the box: send them your digital images and they will make a personalised shower curtain showing off your pretty pictures. Plus they are happy to ship to Australia. Just think of the possibilities: favourite landscapes, arty shots, that picture of your boyfriend posed to look like he’s picking the Statue of Liberty’s nose ... Definitely one of those ‘why didn’t anyone think of this first?’ type ideas.

Although Trotski & Ash sounds like some Russian revolution novel, it’s not. It’s actually a new blog from passionate cooks Sarah Trotter and Romy Ash (who has penned her lovely thoughts for frankie before). Their delightful selection of recipes so far includes a yummy cauliflower soup, apricot jam, honey joys and grandmother's famous fish pie. A delicious start to the day.

frank fable

Sydney people pop down to Somedays next Wednesday 24 June and have a little look at controversial artist frank fable’s art exhibition. Expect lots of grimy urban interpretations of Sydney. Drawing inspiration from the loneliness that can be felt while being surrounded by millions, Frank retreated to the bush for two months. Have a peek at the result.
