everything is much more obvious now so it's probably not necessary

I HAVE A QUESTION! What's with the Search Engine Bots that are registered users of the forum and are always on here? Are they related to spam?

nope.
they're for indexing the content of the site so that it turns up in web searches and gets more traffic to the site. you're not supposed to be able to see them (glitch from upgrading the forum) but they're not harmful.

HELP!
every time i try to put on my avatar from my computer and from the internet it either says 'The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 6 KiB.' or 'The submitted avatar is 339 pixels wide and 303 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high, but no larger than 80 pixels wide and 80 pixels high.' im not that great with technology so im not sure how or if i can post this pic

Have you read the start of this thread?
Microstar has links to everything you need to know about avatars.
Usually best to use flikr or photobucket to resize for an Avatar - it wont let you post it as an avatar if it's too big.

The best way is to link to an offsite avatar. Host the picture on flickr or photobucket or imageshack and then paste the url into the right box... try both cos I'm not sure which one it is, can't remember.

Hey I have seen you guys have been using imageshack and photobucket, they used to be good but they have found ways to sneak ads in here and there.
tinypic.com is really good for image hosting.
