Artist and designer Melanie Lee wanted to make a difference so she formed a recycled handmade stationery business and called it Threads of Conscience. Melanie donates money from her card sales to the East African Mission Orphanage and also includes a mention of the orphanage on the back of each card in the hope that by promoting the orphanage, more people will donate. Aussie Hayley McNugh is a crafter, sewer, knitter and lover of all things fabric. After helping IKEA open up a new store in Dublin, she found herself with time to craft once again. An avid reader, Hayley began to make lovely fabric book covers to protect her most valued items. She's also keen to make frankie covers for any of you whose copies are getting a little dogeared. Hayley custom makes for any size. For all the details check out her etsy store, Two Boos. |

My craft cupboard needs major attention at the moment. Realistically though I won’t get to the much-needed ‘spring clean’ until, well, spring. In the meantime, I am on the hunt for anything that helps in the neat-keeping of one’s craft supplies. Eco-brown craft cat spools? Yes please. |

Remember when the library didn’t have computers and they were just a big old stamp-fest? Stamp, stamp stamp. And the librarians were so fast at stamping – much faster than scanners. Stamps are rad. In particular, these stamps are rad. |
