For the love of it

Yikes! Issue 25 hits the newsstands today! And we are rocking into our mid-20s with six creative solo singers making their music their way, interviews with Deborah Harry, Little Red and Mystery Jets, a photographer who’s turned a Polaroid project into a way of saying ‘thanks’ every day, lots of pretty cossies for summer and loads more fun frankie bits and bobs. In fact, it’s our biggest issue ever. Yes – we are all grown up now. Sort of.

PS – For everyone who’s popped onto the website hoping to find the free music downloads – have patience, petals. The frankie IT pixies will have them up and ready to go on Monday September 1st.

Sew your own

Eek! Issue 26 is out TODAY and it’s bursting at the seams with so much goodness you’ll have to bring your own needle and thread to ensure your copy doesn’t literally unravel into a big bundle of pure reading joy. Every reader gets a gift wrap book full of exclusive, artist-designed wrapping paper (almost too good to save till Christmas), plus 132 pages of your regular frankie shenanigans: pictures of ladies in their nannas’ frocks, true tales of war and unrest, a yummy recipe for Christmas pudding and plenty of fashion, music, art and things to laugh at.
