Super frankie friends Fiona Newton and Louise Irving are putting together a new market in 2010 and they need your help. Fitzroy Market will kick off February 6 at Fitzroy Primary School, Napier Street, and the idea is to have an awesome mix of arts, crafts, local produce, secondhand stuff, ‘garage sale’ stalls, performers and musicians hawking their wares on the first Saturday of every month, plus raising cash and awareness for local community groups. At the moment they’re putting a call out for stall holders so if you’re keen to get involved (selling craftiness, or maybe just getting rid of all your old clothes) head over to Fitzroy Market for details. |
