With gallery spaces getting smaller and more crowded, the Obus Wall Project is a new Melbourne initiative aiming to bring big back. Kristin McIver's quirky light work has been selected as the first of the large scale installations, commenting on the aspirational impulses of the middle class. They're going to be changing quarterly in the Obus space in Flinders Lane in the CBD. The first project, titled 'Divine Intervention', opens on March 9th as part of the LMFF Cultural Program, and will be open seven days a week to peruse.
