frankie readers might know writer Justin Heazlewood from such articles as ‘Selling 30’, ‘The Other Island’ and ‘Dear Blog’, and talking about nylon slacks a lot in pretty much all his stories. On the musical comedy circuit, though, Justin is known as the Bedroom Philosopher and (we’re told) rocks right out in a piss-funny way. You can see him in action for yourself as his new track “Wow Wow’s Song” is currently the featured video on YouTube. The film clip is directed by Charlotte George (The Audreys) and animated by Leigh Ryan (Skipping Girl Vinegar). He’s also joined by Tripod on vocals, Harry Angus (Cat Empire, Jackson Jackson) on trumpet and Richard Cartwright (Richard In Your Mind) on sitar. In fact, most of his friends apart from us – which is probably a good thing as our voices scare small children in neighbouring suburbs!
