NO BAGSIES!

Keen as mustard frankie readers might remember the cute bagladies bags we featured in issues 19 and 20. (Remember ‘My other bags are Prada’ and ‘All the baby sh!t’?) Anyway, the lovely people at bagladies have just launched a newbie onto the world and, hooly dooly, it’s a good one. Say hello to ‘Plastic is so last season’. It’s yours for $24.95 from www.bagladies.com.au

GOODIE BAGS

This is a bit clever. Brisbane-based eco ladies EnviroTrend have come up with these super re-usable gift bags made of the same stuff as the green shoppers that get thrown in the back of the car every time you’re off to Coles. Each bag comes with a blank gift card and a black satin ribbon to secure it together, so no sticky tape or paper required. We just want to know how many times one of these babies can get re-gifted before they’re demoted to shopping duties. They’re $12.75 for a pack of two at www.envirotrend.com.au

baggu

I know we’ve seen a lot of these bags, but there’s something about this one that tickles my fancy. I think it’s the straps. They look comfy. It’s designed by Baggu - a New York label - and is about to hit Australian stores.  They’ll retail for around 20 bucks. You can find all the details at Project Little Bird.

ma ma bags

Three ladies from Bangkok are behind the label Petit A Petit, and they know a good ole crochet bag when they see (and make) one. This is called the Ma Ma Bag and it’s inspired by childhood memories of their mums: one who liked scarves, one who collected brooches and one who loved to knit. So sweet and simple. We like.
