We love a good collaboration, and this one – we think you’ll agree – is a doozy. Printmaker Abby Seymour and jeweller Katherine Wheeler have teamed up to form Golden Ink Collaborative, hand-making (and hand-painting) sweet ceramic rings, bangles and pendants that are pretty special. They’ve just launched their online shop, so it’s a good time to go have a look at their wares. |

Feel like plonking something pretty on your head? Brisbane designer Clare Eastgate of Lunatic Designs makes one-off and made-to-order headpieces, and we think they’re a bit swish. Clare calls her creations “elegant”, “quirky” and “feminine”, which sounds just about right. You can email her for a special order This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. It might be bordering a little on the hippy side, but we're smitten with this video by accessories line Little Doe. We've raved about the collections before and this filming venture sure does deliver. Think sun-drenched skin, green bush wandering, clear running rivers, a touch of tree hugging, flowing vintage dresses and god-damn amazing sculptural headpieces, hats and crystals. It's artistic projects like these that make us want to get our friends together and make something happen. Just think how fun those days of filming would have been. Note to self: get outdoors this weekend. |
