Artist and designer Melanie Lee wanted to make a difference so she formed a recycled handmade stationery business and called it Threads of Conscience. Melanie donates money from her card sales to the East African Mission Orphanage and also includes a mention of the orphanage on the back of each card in the hope that by promoting the orphanage, more people will donate. All cards are made using elephant poo card, hemp card and 100% post consumer recycled card, with 100% post consumer recycled envelopes.
